Our Mission

To keep homeless families together during their time of crisis by providing safe shelter and meals in congregational facilities and to provide support services needed to educate, encourage, and empower these families in their quest to re-establish their individual pride and independence.

A nation, in which every family has a home, a livelihood, and the chance to build a better future together.

                                            Who are the homeless?

People just like you.  They work, pay their bills, and pay their mortgage or rent, until something unexpected happens.  Suddenly they find themselves without enough money to cover those bills.  Given the high cost of housing in our region, they sometimes lose their home and are often too embarrassed to ask for help.

 We serve both single and dual-parent families. Homelessness disrupts virtually every aspect of our guests’ family life, occasionally damaging the physical and/or emotional health of all family members.  It interferes with children’s education and development, and frequently results in the separation of family members.  It can be a devastating experience.

Consider donating your used car, truck or van.  Many times the difference between unemployment and holding a job is having reliable transportation.
